Patient Blood Management includes 5 measurement bundles, encompassing a total of 103 measures. The measurements bundles can be adjusted to the local capabilities of each hospital. Furthermore, by making use of a stepwise implementation, initially focusing on measures, known to be established readily, the process of implementation can be simplified significantly (1).
